New 2024 Lexus NX Pictures, Models, Interior – First-generation crossover The 2024 Lexus NX is returning for a second generation and strives to expand on its strengths while addressing the areas that require improvement. Although it is still a compact luxury crossover, the Toyota RAV4 Prime plug-in hybrid version is now an option for the Toyota C-HR. Even more impressive is the new, forward-looking Lexus Interface system that finally gives the NX an advantage over premium competitors such as the Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class, Audi Q5, and BMW X3.

If you’re looking for something more powerful, you’ll have to upgrade to the 350 models. The standard model features a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with no turbocharger, generating 203 horsepower. The NX 450h+ plug-in hybrid, which has a maximum range of 302 hp and 239 horsepower, is more potent than the 350h hybrid.

New for 2024, the 2024 Lexus NX small luxury crossover is an entirely new vehicle and represents the brand’s second generation. Even though it doesn’t appear much different from the previous generation, it is a much upgraded vehicle. The new Lexus Interface infotainment system with an optional 14-inch touchscreen is one of the most significant updates to this model year’s vehicle.

For the first time, Lexus Safety System 3.0+, which includes standard technologies including dynamic radar cruise control and incoming pedestrian recognition, has been included in this model. An all-electric, 36-mile-long range is projected for the NX 450h+ plug-in hybrid, which uses the same 2.4-liter turbocharged engine as the NX 350.

Interior

From the outside, the new 2024 Lexus NX is less noticeable than from the inside. Because of this, the new central touchscreen is slightly angled in the driver’s direction. As a result, the former touchpad has been replaced with a 14-inch touchscreen that is more intuitive.

Fit and finish are excellent, as one would expect from a Lexus. Everything is well-built, from the seats to the dashboard. There is a 9.8-inch touchscreen, plush Nu Luxe upholstery, and a driving mode selection included in the basic model’s features. At the top of the range, the NX may be equipped with a 10-inch head-up display, a panoramic view monitor, and a panoramic glass roof.

Engine

The outgoing 2024 Lexus NX was never going to be a performance leader, and the new model will be no different. However, we discovered throughout our test drive that it’s a better bet than previously thought. Powered by a 2.5-liter, 4-cylinder engine without forced induction, the NX 250 produces 203 horsepower and 182 lb-ft of torque. Only an eight-speed automatic gearbox may be used with this engine. With the same eight-speed transmission, the NX 350 has a new engine that produces 275 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque.

The NX 350h is the first model in the new hybrid line-up to hit the market. When it comes to power, it has two high-torque electric drive motors and a constantly variable gearbox. The new NX hybrid has 239 total system horsepower, which is a 20% increase over the previous generation. When required, a separate electric motor drives the back wheels. Last but not least, the new NX 450h+ plug-in hybrid has a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and a continuously variable gearbox.
