Although it is still a compact luxury crossover, the Toyota RAV4 Prime plug-in hybrid version is now an option for the Toyota C-HR. Even more impressive is the new, forward-looking Lexus Interface system that finally gives the NX an advantage over premium competitors such as the Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class, Audi Q5, and BMW X3.
If you’re looking for something more powerful, you’ll have to upgrade to the 350 models. The standard model features a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with no turbocharger, generating 203 horsepower. The NX 450h+ plug-in hybrid, which has a maximum range of 302 hp and 239 horsepower, is more potent than the 350h hybrid.

Powered by a 2.5-liter, 4-cylinder engine without forced induction, the NX 250 produces 203 horsepower and 182 lb-ft of torque. Only an eight-speed automatic gearbox may be used with this engine. With the same eight-speed transmission, the NX 350 has a new engine that produces 275 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque.
The NX 350h is the first model in the new hybrid line-up to hit the market. When it comes to power, it has two high-torque electric drive motors and a constantly variable gearbox. The new NX hybrid has 239 total system horsepower, which is a 20% increase over the previous generation. When required, a separate electric motor drives the back wheels. Last but not least, the new NX 450h+ plug-in hybrid has a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and a continuously variable gearbox.
2024 Lexus NX Release Date and Price
The entry-level 2024 Lexus NX costs $37,950 off the showroom floor. Stepping up to the Premium trim costs $41,000, while the Luxury model costs $44,100. Add $1,600 to the per-trim pricing if you want the 250 with all-wheel drive. With a basic price of $41,550, the NX 350 comes in at $44,600 for the Premium and $49,000 for the Luxury trims. The F Sport versions cost $46,650, while the 350 F Sport Luxury is available for $49,950. The standard 350h hybrid costs $41,050, while the Premium and Luxury trims are priced at $44,100 and $48,500, respectively.
